G.S.C . Genome Sequencing Center. Washington University School of Medicine St Louis, MO USA
The open sharing of genomics methodology and the rapid release of sequence data via our website serves to empower other researchers and facilitates the elucidation of gene function, forming the ultimate basis for an understanding of how DNA sequence dictates the form and function of an organism, both in health and in disease.
H.G.P.I. Human Genome Project Information
Begun formally in 1990, the U.S. Human Genome Project is a 13-year effort coordinated by the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Institutes of Health. The project originally was planned to last 15 years, but rapid technological advances have accelerated the expected completion date to 2003.
Généthon Human Genome Research Centre
Généthon is a research laboratory financed almost totally by the AFM (Association Française contre les Myopathies/French Muscular Dystrophy Association) via Téléthon donations.
C.E.P.H. Fundation Jean Dausset
This laboratory constructs maps of the human genome. The original idea of Professor Dausset was to provide the scientific community with resources for the human genome mapping.
Baylor College Human Genome Sequencing Center
The Human Genome Sequencing Center (BCM-HGSC) was established in 1996 when the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) designated Baylor College of Medicine as one of six pilot programs for the final phase of the Human Genome Project.
